FALL BREAK!

Fall break was last Thursday and Friday and can I just say it was very eventful and wonderful even though I stayed in Provo :). Since I had already shown my movement and had my conference with my teacher earlier in the week I did not have to go to class on Wednesday making my fall break an extra day long :) Tuesday night I got a call for and interview for Wednesday afternoon. I went to the interview and guess what... I got the job working here (which is where I'm writing the from right now). Thursday Jillian and I went to the park laid out a blanket and read...

to each other. I know we are just so cute! That night I had a work meeting where I learned more about what exactly I would be doing. Friday morning I went to work the be trained for a few hours. Later that night I had a date and he would not tell me what we were doing, just that it was a really good idea. He took me to my most favorite place.... I painted a mug that has a slot in the bottom to hold your cookies for cookies and milk. Pictures of it will come soon. There are many more details to this date that if you would like to know you may ask :) Lets just say I came home very happy. Saturday Jillian, Mikelle, and I went to the Provo farmers market, where I saw this guy...YIKES! When we got back I lead them in an hour of zumba, showered real fast and went to work. I got home a little before 10 to my surprise, my brother at my apartment. He had been hanging out with my roommates. Too bad for him I had already made plans with a cute boy. We went hot tubbing and boy did it feel good since I had been on my feet all day. Sunday was P Kez's homecoming! It was so good to see him, I can't believe all of my friends are starting to come back it's CRAZY! I had gotten hardly any sleep the two night previous so I basically slept all day on Mikelle's couch :) thanks Kelle.

JENNY LANE

I want to tell you about my AMAZING sister Jennifer Lane, but in order for me to do that we need to go back in time a few years to 2006. She went to BYU Hawaii for a semester and this is where her running career began with her first ever half marathon. Then in 2008 she ran her first marathon (Top of Utah) without training, in 3:34 qualifying her for the Boston Marathon.

In 2009 she ran the Boston Marathon (without sufficient training due to injury) she finished in 3:34 re-qualifying for Boston. This was a really cool experience watching her fun in such a huge event.

She did not run Boston again this year, but she did run the Chicago Marathon this weekend. She improved her time by 13 minutes, finishing in 3:21!

I am sad I was not able to be there this weekend with her to celebrate this amazing accomplishment!

I LOVE you Jen and I'm so proud of you!

Bad day cure

Last night Mikelle, Jillian and I went over to Jillians friends apartment (carriage cove) we were there for only 20 minutes when my car was towed...yes TOWED! So basically it was a BAD night. With all of us being in kind of a bad mood we ate some ice cream and watched....

it was the perfect cure! We finished the second season and I love Jess!

WHY????

I am like a new born baby recently.... I can't sleep through the night and it's driving me INSANE! I try and try to fall back asleep, but it doesn't work so I end up getting up and doing something. Then after 2 hours or so I can fall back asleep. WHY is this happening to me :( I just want to be able to sleep!

Even this little guy can sleep through the night...WHY can't I?

ParTy LikE iTs 1999!

Mikelle turned 21 on friday the 17 of September. We celebrated for 3 days, starting Thursday night. We went to dinner with her family at pizzeria 712...YUM!

Friday night we went to spark to get some "drinks" I got a shirley temple that had cotton candy on top (I love cotton candy...it's pure sugar :)) Also they had the best fries... There was a Japanese drink so of course I had to get it :)

Saturday we partied like it was 1999 with a 90's themed party, with either music videos playing on the TV or our favorite hits from the 90's. We had an "open bar" with strawberry daiquiris, margaritas, pina coladas, and cosmopolitans.

Jillian and I were the best bar tenders anyone could ask for...I was told I can make a mean miami vice. Plus........................................................we know how to party!



We were so tired at the end of the night we just had to plop onto the couch. It was such a fun weekend full of laughs and a TON of sugar!! I love living with these girls

craziness

Oh boy how it has been a CRAZY week! First off I absolutely HATE moving, and I decided I do not do well with it. next time I am going to have a moving day boyfriend so I do not have to do it all by myself. Last tuesday I moved from here...

Yes this was my adorable apartment at Santa Barbara which I will highly recommend anyone to live there it is so fun! Although I was sad to leave this place, I was so excited to move in with these girls...

This was taken our freshman year...and it is the only picture with all four of us. We moved into University Avenue Condos. I walked into our apartment excited to finally be living there and with them to find it a DISASTER! it was DISGUSTING! Let me just paint you a picture... dried frosting on the outside of the fridge, dirty dishes with food still on them in the sink, and garbage everywhere. oh and it SMELLED! Wednesday I started school :( I was not ready for it to start this year...I've been in for a week now and I'm still not ready. Thursday the painters came to paint our rooms, meaning we had to remove our bedding (mikelle and I just took our mattresses into the living room) and clear off our shelves after we had just put everything out. That night my roommates and I went up to Salt Lake for the twilight concert series to see She & Him. We were so exhausted when we got back Mikelle Jillian and I all slept out in the living room...I did not sleep well. Friday I went to school then to my Santa Barbara apartment to help Aimee clean it. I rushed back to my UAC apartment to shower pack and kinda put things away before I left for bear lake. oh and get stuff Jen left in her old apartment to store in my room because she didn't have time to go get it. I got back from bear lake on Sunday just in time to go to ward prayer. By then I was just ready to go to bed...so I did. Monday was just not a good day...multiple things just went wrong. Tuesday I left my apartment at 9 for school, left school around 4 to drive to my house to go to the John Mayer concert. It took me and hour to get there! John was AMAZING! (his clothes and weird mouth movements set aside) I slept over at my house not getting back to my apartment until 3 wednesday afternoon. Yes Jen's stuff is still sitting in my apartment and no I haven't put all my stuff away...but

I LOVE my roommates!
